Isaac and the rest of the family got to go over to Santa's house last night and watch him put on his special Santa suit! We really appreciate Mr. Mike and Mrs. Becky for letting us do this! We thought that it might help Isaac warm up to Santa a little this year - he has been a little afraid. I didn't. But, he did think that Santa was pretty neat.

Isaac helped Daddy first!

Then he helped Santa put on his belt!

Daddy and Santa and Isaac all together!

He did warm up enough to stand next to Santa for a picture!

Last Thursday Clifford came to the library here in Sherwood. Casey, Isaac and I all went over to see him and get his "autograph." We had lots of fun.

As many of you know, Casey's granddad had heart surgery this week. As we were on our way to visit him in the hospital the day before, we were trying to explain to Isaac that Peepaw was feeling sick and he would be in a hospital bed when we saw him. Isaac said, "Well, we need to pray and God will send Jesus to fix him up."

Thanksgiving '07
We were very blessed to have lots of family around for Thanksgiving this year! We missed Brian's family and Mel (hope you feel good to that baby comes!). The post before this one is filled with pictures from the holiday - sorry that my kid was always on Jacob and Whit when I took a picture! Hope you enjoy!

Working on the farm...
This weekend, Casey was out of town and Isaac and I decided to go to the farm. My mom had found some "work gloves" for Isaac that look just like Granddad's. He was so excited he wanted to go and do some work as soon as we got there...it was dark. The next day, he was helping load some wood into the trailor and got a piece that was a little big for him. He got a little tripped up, and eventually fell backwards. The wood that he was carrying fell with him and got him good in the chin. He cried a little and then found a smaller piece of wood and said, "Now this one is more my size!" What a sweet little guy to want to work and help out around the farm. He loves to go look at the cows, although I think this is a secret ploy to ride the fourwheeler, and take walks. He also loves to feed the fish and burn the brush piles (he inherited the love of fire from his Mimi). We are soooo very blessed to have such a sweet, healthy, helpful little boy!

O.K. so I vow to do better. I want to keep this updated for the family to see pictures of my little man! Someone is going to have to remind me to do it! Marti, that means you by the way!
